Penolakan
Penolakan translates to "rejection" in Javanese. The coastal country is one of bartering due to the wide variety of landscapes within its borders. Every needed resource can be found within Penolakan's borders, even mithril. After the fall of the Zanshian Empire, the surface dwellers of Penolakan largely isolated itself from developmental advancements that other countries may have made.

Landmarks
Geheim
Geheim is an isolated and xenophobic dwarven city built deep inside the mountains. Their primary export is mithril and other metals. While the city itself can be downright hostile to those who are not invited or part of the dwarven clans, the people of Geheim still trade with the "surface dwellers," offering up finely crafted goods. There is a stark class divide between those with wealth and those without. The dwarves of Geheim are hard working and stubborn about their ways, and only the very wealthy are formally educated and enjoy leisure time.

Osten Mountains
A mountain range that spans almost the entirety of Penolakan.
Tân Myndd
To the South of Geheim sits a volcano called Tân Myndd that is home to a society of magma dwarves. These dwarves are skilled artisans of obsidian and lava rock and are a bartering culture. The city itself is carved out of obsidian by their most talented craftsmen. Dwarves blessed by the fires of the mountain have features that glow like magma. A magma dwarf will always carry the stone of the mountain with them under the superstition that all their magic comes from the volcano. When a dwarf dies they are committed to the fire river from whence they come.

The Remnant
The Remnant is a collection of elves that became hunters and gathers living off the land after the Empire fell. In a country whose main economic activity is bartering, this culture thrives as fur traders.
